Almost like a civil war

Sources in Damaturu, capital of Yobe State confirmed to Olufamous.com that the city has been turned into a theatre of war as Islamic militants have gone wild, shooting, bombing and killing with impunity. Since around 5pm on Monday, the New Jerusalem as well as the Sabon Pegi areas of the city are a no-go for anyone that is not ready to lose his/her life. The the militant fighters almost gained access to the road linking the residence of Governor Ibrahim Geidam, but for the timely intervention of the JTF. There is serious commotion in the town, this is almost like a civil war... guns and bombs are heard from every corner and no one knows what led to this latest attack on Damaturu. Security sources say more troops have been deployed to Yobe from neighbouring states to help bring the situation under control.
