Younger brother to Paul Ikonne of Abia Action Congress of
Nigeria identified as Tobechi was arrested in Enugu last night for stealing
jeans and belts at a shop in Emene . The junior Ikonne who came with the
intention to steal in the big super market as usual did not know that he was
being monitored. As soon as he stole these items neatly packaged in the small
bag he came with after buying other things as a cover up, Tobechi was about
leaving the place when the shop attendants held him rendering slaps on him.
The
junior Ikonne who could not absorbed the beating started confessing that he is
the brother to Paul Ikonne, Action Congress big shot, but his brother whom he
described as a total failure is not helping him and his brothers such that he
has to leave Aba to Enugu to look for a means of survival. Paul Ikonne
according to him is a disgrace to Ikonne’s family. He was later handed over to
the police.
