Hannah-May Foundation, the Pet Project of Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Mercy Odochi Orji, Osinulomaranma, wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State, was launched on Monday, April 2nd, 2012.This epoch-making event was held at Women Development Center, Government Layout, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
Hannah-May Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization founded by Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Mercy Odochi Orji to address needs of women, youths, the poor, widows, children, physically and mentally challenged members of our society.
She said the foundation was initiated to cater for the less privileged.
Mrs. Orji said: “I have used this foundation to build houses for indigent men and women across the state and paid the hospital bills of many abandoned patients.
“We have awarded scholarships to indigent students in different institutions and provided wheel chairs and crutches to the physically-challenged.”
Governor Theodore Orji, who was also at the ceremony, said: “I will always support my wife to achieve results, as her achievements will boost mine. We intend to leave behind legacies that will stand the test of time, after we leave office.”
if all what I have read is true,God please give her the strength to do it well, wisdom to deal with issues, and the ability to do much more.
