Speaking at the launch of  Dubic Lager beer at the Government House, Umuahia, before moving to Aba, the chairman of the company, Mr. Babatunde Savage explained that Abia State was chosen for the launch because Dubic beer began from there before Guinness bought over the company.
According to him, the people of Aba and the state in general were in love with the beer hence the decision to bring back to them in a better quality.
