Orji Uzor Kalu declares for Senate under PPA

Former Abia Governor Orji Uzor Kalu has declared his intention to run for Abia North Senatorial seat in 2015 on the platform of the PPA.

er Governor at a meeting with a handful of PPA members in Igbere at the weekend told them that he is not a member of PDP having been denied entry.

According to him all efforts to bulldoze his way into PDP has met a brick wall and several attempts to seek audience with President Jonathan and the Party Chairman Muazu have been unsuccessful.

Kalu told his bewildered guests that has his tried joining APC but he was not accepted hence the need to revive PPA.

The former Governor told his members that PPA would produce candidates for Governorship and Presidential polls.

Kalu who expressed anger over poor attendance to the meeting was also not happy that most of them have no voter’s card. He later gave out cash, which caused problem as Jones Udogu disappeared with the money.
